This year the Philadelphia Salsa Congress 2009 was held at the Born 2 Salsa Dance and Music School and The Felton Supper Club hosted the evening performances and socials.
Unfortunately, there was an “underground effort” to derail the 2009 Philadelphia Salsa Congress by unknown forces. Emails and text messages were sent out spreading false rumors of violence at the socials and even the cancelation of the 2009 Philadelphia Salsa Congress itself.
None of the rumors were true. All the classes were held and any changes of the schedule were handled in a professional manner. We would like to thank all of the staff, instructors, performers and attendees that su pported the 2009 Philadelphia Salsa Congress We will not forget those who helped to keep our Congress on the map and hope that next year we can come together as a community and setting all differences aside for the sake of dance and the world of Salsa.
